Founded in 2019 by Tracy Bacal, Ambergate Productions is a full-service production company based in Los Angeles with resources to produce entertainment worldwide.

Growing up in Australia, Tracy began her career at Channel 7 in Perth working in production, news and current affairs. Moving to Melbourne and working as a Script Supervisor, then Production Manager/Line Producer, Tracy worked on a number of popular Australian scripted TV shows and feature films. As Head of Production at Fremantle Media, Melbourne, she oversaw production on scripted and unscripted shows such as “Australia’s Got Talent” and “Project Runway Australia”. The move to Los Angeles came in 2009 and work followed as EIC on “Let’s Make a Deal” and “America’s Got Talent”. With her career progressing, Tracy became CEO and EVP of Production at Karga Seven Pictures where she lead the way in the merger and acquisition with Red Arrow Studios. After years at Karga it was time to branch out under her own banner…hence the birth of Ambergate Productions.

Specializing in all areas of production, the team at Ambergate has worked on a wide variety of programming from Live TV to Scripted, Unscripted, Game Shows, Reality, Documentaries and Sports as well as Feature Films. From filming studio content for Amazon’s “Rings of Power” to working with Amazon on Sports properties including “Thursday Night Football”, the team has an expansive range of programming to their credit.

Ambergate handles all aspects of production including show creation, budgeting, scheduling, accounting, payroll, development, talent services, network negotiations, crewing, and all aspects of planning and filming — basically everything from pre to post-production. The team has sent crews to all corners of the globe and has extensive experience shooting internationally.  Ambergate Productions is a one-stop shop.
